Graveside services for Ernest “Freeman” Terrell, 81, of LaRue are scheduled for 11 a.m. Saturday, December 8, 2012 at Leagueville Cemetery in Leagueville.

Freeman passed from this earthly home to his Heavenly home on December 6, 2012.

Freeman was born February 14, 1931 in Chandler, TX to Clyde and Willie Gideon Terrell. He married Betty Louise Dalton and attended Rock Hill Baptist Church of Chandler. PaPaw loved to read his Bible and had a great love for his family, and they loved and cherished him. He will be greatly missed.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Louise Terrell and a daughter, Joyce Ann Terrell.

Freeman leaves behind a daughter, Pat Capps and husband Donald of Alvin, TX; two sons Curtis Terrell of LaRue; Richard Terrell and wife Teresa of Dallas,TX; brothers Coy Terrell and wife Francis of Athens; Rex Terrell and wife Linda of Frankston; sisters Nadine Spivey of Tyler, and Carolyn Douglas and husband Billy Don of Frankston; 10 grandchildren: Misty Mercer, Wendy Terrell, Barbie Terrell, Darren Terrell, Bethany Terrell, Jesse Terrell, Adrianne Terrell, Lauren Terrell, Benjamin Terrell, Madison Terrell; and seven great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Curtis Terrell, Richard Terrell, Mark Terrell, Jesse Terrell, Benjamin Terrell, Mitch Horstkoetter. Honorary Pallbearers are Jaycob Horstkoetter and Brad Terrell.

Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. -7:00 p.m. Friday, December 7, 2012 at the Hannigan Smith Funeral Home of Athens.
