Ronnie was my band director (teacher) from 1976 (5th grade) till I graduated in '83. He taught me about music and how to play the trumpet. We would run into each other over the years after high school and he was always kind and considerate. The last time I saw him he was recovering from a stroke. His death has caught me by surprise because I thought he was doing well. RIP old friend. Memories will live on in all the lives you touched.
