The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Billy Pirtle can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Condolence From: Tamara Kinnaird Smith
Condolence: Unfortunately, I did not have the privilege of meeting Mr. Pirtle, but I know he was a good man just from knowing his son, Steve. My niece, Nancy, is married to Steve and we are thankful to have him in our family. Steve has a kind heart and a compassionate soul, which reflects that he was raised in a loving home by honorable parents. My heart goes out to the entire Pirtle family, and I pray that God holds you all a little tighter to ease your pain and comfort you.

Condolence: Jerry and family,
I was so saddened to hear of Billy's going to be with our Lord. We do not grieve for Him but for ourselves. He was a good and godly man and a good friend. He ran the race well. I am out of state and cannot attend the services but know you will be in my thoughts and prayers. May the fact that our Lord now holds him in his arms and Billy has left the confines of this earthly existence and has kissed the face of God. May that fact assuage your grief and sorrow just a little. With all my love and sympathy,

Joe Warren
