Obituary for Lydia Bellah Rose Bourland
Funeral services for Lydia Bellah Rose Bourland will be held on Saturday, March 12, 2016 at 11:00 am at Hannigan Smith Funeral Home in Athens, TX. Burial will follow at Athens City Cemetery under the direction of Hannigan Smith Funeral Home of Athens.
Late Tuesday, March 8, 2016, our sweet daughter, Lydia Bourland was called back to Heaven to be with the Lord. The Lord gave her to us on April 24, 2014. With her Great Grandmother’s name we began the journey together. Our Angel had several medical issues and we made many trips to doctors and hospitals, but through it all, we were together. And we know she will be walking and talking with Jesus until we are together again. Her life, though short, has made an everlasting impact on us all.
Lydia was the daughter of Kenneth Andrew Bourland and Brittany Leah Johnson Bourland. She will be missed by all she knew and loved.
She is preceded in death by her great grandparents, and her uncle Richard Bourland.
Lydia is survived by her parents, Andy and Brittany Bourland of Leonard, great grandmother Lydia White of Athens, grandparents Rick and Myrna Bourland of Trenton, Kelley Bourland of Leonard, Corky Johnson of Athens, and Tony and Linda Loicano of Athens, siblings Andy Bourland Jr., McKinley Johnson, Natalie Bourland, Katelynn Shotwell, Morgan Johnson Bourland, and Garrett Bourland, aunts Janet and Kenneth Boyett and Sara and Josh Kirby, and many great aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Friday, March 11,2016 from 5-7 pm at Hannigan Smith Funeral Home in Athens.
