Condolences

Condolence From: Peggy Romberg
Condolence: Please, know that you are all, W.A., Karen and Tom, in my thoughts and prayers. I loved the other "Peggy" for her smile, sense of humor and helping attitude.

W.A. my husband and I were the other "Tom & Peggy" in West Lake Hills, back when everyone knew everyone.

I wanted you to know that, when I last talked with Peggy, sometime last winter, she told me how wonderfully happy she was. In my mind this was a tribute to all three of you and her grandchildren. She had called to get any news I had on our mutual friend, Edna Putnam. I couldn't tell her much as Edna wasn't really communicating. It was so good, however, to visit with your Peggy, hear each other's news, and laugh together.

Peggy will be missed by a lot of folks, including me. Fondly, Peggy Romberg

Condolence From: Leslie Cates Foss
Condolence: I was sorry to read about Peggy's passing. I grew up in Westlake Hills in Austin. Walton's florist was the most wonderful shop-she created gorgeous arrangements. She and my mother were members of the garden club. She was a truly sweet, wonderful woman. My thoughts and prayers go out to her family.
