Georgie “George” Bailey, 80, of Trinidad, Texas passed away July 21, 2015 after a long illness. George was born February 10, 1935 in Cabin Creek, West Virginia to Dewey and Mrytle Bailey.

He is survived by his loving wife Sharon “Sam” Bailey, a son George Lee Bailey, a daughter and son-n-law Candice and Jason Logan, a sister Loretta Basham, 7 grandchildren David, Brandy, Brittany, Chelsea, Katie, Joanna and Mason. 4 step grandchildren Bryant, Hylaree, Brittney, Bailey. 5 great grandchildren Kylie, Serenity, Jacob, Sophie and Taitum along with numerous nieces and nephews.

He was proceeded in death by his Parents, Brothers, Dewey Jr., Buck, Glen and Delmar. Sisters Anna, Mrytle “Tootsie”, Margaret, and Theresa “Sissy”.

George was one that was hard to forget once you met him. He loved everyone and would help anyone that needed it. He enjoyed time with his grandchildren, dancing and playing cards. He lived life to the fullest.

Memorial service will be on Saturday July 25, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. At Hannigan Smith in Athens Texas.
