Obituary for Sharon Rose Eden (Baker)

Graveside services for Sharon Eden, 59, of Humble, are scheduled for 2:00 P.M., Saturday, October 16, 2021, at Edom Cemetery with Bob Greene officiating. Interment will be under the direction of Hannigan Smith Funeral Home.

Mrs. Eden passed away on October 8, 2021, in Edom after a short illness.

Sharon Rose (Baker) Eden was born September 29, 1962 in Houston, the daughter of Marion Conard Baker and Nelda Uretha (Horn) Baker. Sharon was a homemaker who loved doing activities with and for her daughters and husband, enjoyed cooking (especially chicken and dumplings and pie), was an organizer extraordinaire, and liked scrapbooking and gardening. Sharon was also a DIY home improvement enthusiast and very talented. Sharon was a good and faithful servant to the Lord and a powerful prayer warrior for others. Sharon had an innate quality which drew people to her and allowed her to form long and lasting bonds with her dear friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents.

Sharon is survived by her loving husband of 27 years, Eric Eden of Humble; children, Bailee Eden of LA, California, Cassie Eden of Waco; siblings, Karen Porter of Fort Worth, and Conard Baker and wife Jamie of Athens; sister-in-law, Melissa King and husband Steve of The Woodlands, brother-in-law, Robert Eden of Cedar Hill; nieces, Kristen McManus and husband Glyn of Weatherford, Kaitlin Barnes and husband Dalton of Fort Worth, Abby Miller and husband Joel of Farmers Branch, Krista Alderman and husband Nathan of Austin, Kara King of Austin, Sierra Eden and fiancé Timothy Dockery of Denton, Jenna Eden and fiancé Tatum Lee of Dallas, Miranda Eden of Cedar Hill; nephews, Will Baker and fiancée Kelcie Johnson of Forney, Kyle King of Houston, Kory King of College Station; great-nieces, Chloe Miller and Annie Alderman and great-nephew, Jack Barnes.

Sharon will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Funeral arrangements were entrusted to the Hannigan Smith Funeral Home family.
