Funeral services for Robbie Strey, 56, of Athens, will be held 6:00 p.m., Tuesday, September 8, 2020 at Hannigan Smith Funeral Home of Athens with Bro. Erick Graham officiating.

Mr. Strey passed away on September 2, 2020 in Tyler.

Robbie James Strey was born May 8, 1964 in Lewisville, Texas the son of Glennada Edwards and Louis Strey. He attended Sand Springs Baptist Church of Athens and was recently baptized. Robbie was an installer for Cole Air Conditioning where he worked for the past six years and on the weekends could be found spending time with his best friend, Mark Cole. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
He was preceded in death by his father; brothers, Donnie Strey, Ronnie Strey and sister Kathy Green.

Robbie is survived by his loving wife, Tabitha Price Strey of Athens; mother, Glennada Edwards of Denton; two stepchildren, Brianna Nix of Log Cabin, Chayla Nix of Log Cabin and sister Teresa Strey of Denton.

A visitation will be held Tuesday, September 8, 2020 from 4-6:00 p.m. at the funeral home prior to the service.
