Graveside services for Phyllis Bailey are scheduled for Tuesday, March 12, 2019 at 2:00 PM at Carroll Springs Cemetery under direction of Hannigan Smith Funeral Home.
Phyllis was born in Fort Wayne, Indiana to Kenneth and Florence Gillenwater on November 19, 1936. She married F B Bailey on March 2,1957 in Corinth Texas. She worked as a seamstress for many years and owned her own alteration business 15 years.
Phyllis is preceded in death by her husband F B of Little Elm, Texas, son Randy Bailey of Duncanville, Texas, sister Jaqueline Mullinax of Athens, Texas, sister Shirley Haynes of Euless, Texas and her parents Kenneth and Florence Gillenwater of Irving, Texas.
Phyllis is survived by her son and daughter in law Kevin and Jeannie Bailey of Llano, Texas, daughter in law Susie Bailey, sister Janice Merket of Kingsland, Texas, Joyce Haak and husband Ted of Keller, Texas, brothers Kenneth Gillenwater of Lancaster, California, and Harry Gillenwater and wife Linda of Azel, Texas. Four grandsons Lucas Bailey and his wife April of Quitman, Texas , Levi Bailey of Houston, Texas , William "Chance" Bailey of Llano, Texas and Clint Alexander of McKinney, Texas. Three great grandsons Jayden Carson, Hunter Bailey and Liam Bailey. Also numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were entrusted to the Hannigan Smith Funeral Home family.
