Obituary for Patricia Ann Throckmorton (Lazarz)
A memorial service for Patricia Throckmorton of Athens will be held at 10:00 A.M. Monday, June 22, 2020 at the Hannigan Smith Funeral Home.
Patricia Ann “Patty” Throckmorton was called home to be with Jesus on June 17, 2020 in Athens at the age of 76.
Patricia was born March 5, 1944 in Bend, Oregon, the daughter of Stanley Lazarz and Ann Sophia. Patty was a wonderful wife and mother who put everyone first, especially her family. She was known and loved by many and would give wholeheartedly, never asking for anything in return. Patty will be remembered as the most loving person to grace her family.
Patty leaves behind her loving husband of 38 years, Bob Throckmorton of Athens; daughter, Sherry Frost of Katy; two grandson, Eric and Chris Bodle; her loving and caring sister, Sharon Scherenberg and husband Don of Orlando, Florida; her loving brother, James Lazarz of Tyler and many acquaintances who dearly loved her.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society for lung cancer research.
Funeral arrangements were entrusted to the Hannigan Smith Funeral Home family.
