Obituary for Melba Jean Fuller-Loving (Stutts)

Funeral services for Melba Fuller-Loving, 94, of Lindale, are scheduled for 3:00 p.m., Sunday, October 9, 2022, at Hannigan Smith Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Kerens Cemetery under the direction of Hannigan Smith Funeral Home of Athens, Texas.

Mrs. Fuller-Loving passed away on October 6, 2022, in Tyler.

Melba Jean (Stutts) Fuller-Loving was born August 20, 1928, in Kerens, the daughter of Thomas Allen Stutts and Nettie (Autry) Stutts. She was a life-long member of the Assemblies of God denomination and a devoted homemaker. Melba enjoyed cooking and reading and loved to garden flowers and vegetables. Most important to her was spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She will be missed by all those that knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband James Fuller, son James Allen Fuller, and numerous brothers and sisters.

Survivors include husband, George Loving of Lindale; children, Mike Fuller and wife Betty of Chandler, Tom Fuller of Arp, Doug Fuller of Palestine, Pat Fuller and wife Mary Jane of Brownsboro, Susan Fuller-Banks of Tyler; siblings, Travis Stutts of Corsicana, Delbert Stutts of Athens, Ann Gilbert of Cloudcroft, New Mexico, Judy Hughs of Dallas; along with numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

A visitation will be held on Sunday, October 9, 2022, from 2-3:00 p.m., at Hannigan Smith Funeral Home prior to the service.

Pallbearers will be Tommy Fuller, Patrick Fuller, Ryan Brown, Curt Fuller, John Fuller and Jeff Fuller.

Funeral arrangements were entrusted to the Hannigan Smith Funeral Home family.
