Athens - Funeral Services for Karen Padgett of Athens are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, September 24, 2019 at Hannigan Smith Funeral Home in Athens with Dr. David Holder officiating.
Ms. Padgett passed away on September 20, 2019 in Tyler, Texas.
Karen Sue Padgett was born March 31, 1953 in Fort Worth, Texas the daughter of Bob Norvin Padgett and Winnie Mae Howard.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and two brothers, Jimmy Padgett and John Padgett.
Karen is survived by her siblings, Dennis Padgett and wife Laura of Virginia Beach, VA, Patty Saltarelli and husband Ido of Utica, MI, Marianne Adams of Winona, George Padgett and wife Beverly of Athens, Jill Padgett of Athens, Boyd Padgett and wife Susan of Athens and Melvin Padgett and wife Robin of Texarkana, AR; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held prior to the service on Tuesday at the Hannigan Smith Funeral Home from 12-2:00 P.M.
Funeral arrangements were entrusted to the Hannigan Smith Funeral Home family.
