Obituary for Justin William Hearne
A Celebration of the Life of Justin Hearne, 31, of Malakoff will be held at 2:00 P.M., Saturday, August 24, 2019 at the Hannigan Smith Funeral Home in Athens.
Justin passed away on August 18, 2019 in Anderson County.
Justin was born June 17, 1988 in Orange, California, the son of Jack M. Hearne and Candace Elaine (Strosaker) Hearne. He graduated from Cross Roads High School in 2007 and went on to join the United States Marine Corp in Twentynine Palms, California with the 3rd Combat Engineer Battalion. He did several tours including Operation Iraqi Freedom in Iraq and Operation Enduring Freedom in Afghanistan. Justin loved his children very much and cherished spending time with them. He also enjoyed fishing and hunting, and he will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved him.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Jack D. Hearne and his maternal grandfather, David Strosaker.
He is survived by his parents, Jack and Candace Hearne; two daughters, Kynley and Peyton Hearne; one sister, Jennifer Meier and husband Jacob; one brother, Nathan Hearne; half-sister, Jasmine Heil; nephew, Connor Meier; grandparents, Fannie Matthews, Shirley Strosaker, Esther Strosaker and numerous aunts and uncles.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to assist with funeral expenses.
