Obituary for Jon Charles Allen
Jon Charles Allen, 60, of Athens, passed away July 8, 2019 in Tyler. He was born May 31, 1959 in Athens to the late John Welden Allen and Bettie Sue (Bosher) Allen. He worked for Dogwood Nursery for over 30 years.
He is survived by his sisters, Teresa Cader of Camp Verde, Arizona and Leslie Copeland and husband Robert of Tyler; his nieces and nephews, Brandon James and children Olivia James and Abigail Grace, Melissa Manshack and son Parker Manshack, Hayden James and daughter Riley James, Blaine Porter and Breana Wynkoop; his step-mother, Vereana Allen; cousin Edwin Rogers; and special friend, Nita McGee.
A visitation will be held Thursday, July 11, 2019 from 6-8:00 PM at Hannigan Smith Funeral Home.
Funeral arrangements were entrusted to the Hannigan Smith Funeral Home family.
