Obituary for Jeremy Wayne Morris

Funeral services for Jeremy Morris, 46, of Eustace, are scheduled for 3:00 p.m., Saturday, January 15, 2022, at Hannigan Smith Funeral Home with Pastor Trey Barron officiating.

Mr. Morris passed away January 10, 2022, in Midland.

Jeremy Wayne Morris was born February 10, 1975, in Athens, the son of Leonard Wayne Morris and Darlene (Richards) Morris. He graduated from Athens High School in 1993 and over the span of his career worked for Redman Mobile Homes of Athens, Champion Homes of Athens, Sevenson of Longview and most recently, Mine Services Incorporated of Rockdale. Jeremy attended Living for the Brand Cowboy Church and during his free time enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, and working on his truck. He adored his children and will be remembered as friendly, outgoing, and generous to all those that knew and loved him.

He was preceded in death by his father; paternal grandparents, Leonard and Lorene Morris and maternal grandparents, Chester and Naomi Richards.

Survivors include mother, Darlene Morris of Eustace; children, Mackenzie Morris of Belton, Landon Morris of New Braunfels; siblings, Melissa Henson and husband Sam of Eustace along with their children, Riley Henson and Hagen Henson, Chuck Morris and wife Tina of Canton, Leanne Graves and husband Greg of Wichita Falls; girlfriend, Veronica Hatton of Eustace along with her children, Allissa Geddie and Colton Geddie; grand dog, Oakley Ann, as well as numerous aunts, uncles, other relatives, and a host of friends.

Honorary pallbearers will be Colton Geddie, Blake Weatherford, Randall Slaton, James Martin, Ray Stevenson, Austin Watts, Andy Ellis, David Roeglin, and Trey Cleveland.

A visitation will be held Friday, January 14, 2022, from 6-8:00 p.m. at Hannigan Smith Funeral Home.

Memorial contributions may be made to Living for the Brand Cowboy Church.
