Obituary for Jenny Griffin (Jamison)
Jenny Griffin, 82, of Montalba, Texas passed away October 12, 2020 at home surrounded by her family.
Carlene Patricia Griffin was born January 14, 1938 in Harris County, Texas the daughter of Bert Jamison and Francis (Smith) Jamison. Jenny was a very active young lady with many interests. She moved to Mexico soon after college to train to be a bullfighter, later went on to own her own beauty shop in Pearland, Texas and then worked as an LVN for several years before deciding to stay at home and enjoy her family. She was an avid horse lover who cherished her family dearly and will be missed by all those she knew and loved.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her loving husband James C. Griffin.
Jenny is survived by her two sons, Butch Griffin and Judy Harris of Montalba, Jake Griffin of Murchison; grandchildren, Jennifer Stout and husband James, James A. Griffin and wife Kalie Jo, Josh Griffin and wife Tiffany, Jerod Griffin and wife Mykala, Tasha Crum, Tyler Harris and wife Melissa, Jamison Griffin, Jessica Griffin and fiancé Cade Smith, Jordan Griffin, Jayden Griffin; twelve great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
Arrangements were entrusted to the Hannigan Smith Funeral Home of Athens.
