Services for Jennie Lou Bice, 90, of Palestine, are scheduled for Sunday, December 30, 2018 at 2:30 PM at Hannigan Smith Funeral Home with Pastor Ron Ivey officiating. Interment will follow at Liberty Hill Cemetery under direction of Hannigan Smith Funeral Home.
Mrs. Bice passed away December 27, 2018 in Palestine. She was born November 4, 1928 in Athens. She attended Bois D’ Arc Baptist Church and was a board member of BBS Water for many years. She worked as a beautician and loved bingo and gardening.
She is preceded in death by parents, Luther and Olla Hill; husband, David C. Bice; and brother, John Hill.
Survivors include son, Donald Bice and wife Teresa of Decatur; sister, Karen Hill Owens and husband Bill of Fincastle; grandchildren, Meagan Eylar and husband Troy, Johnathan Bice and wife Julie and Macy Del Rossi and husband Seth; great grandchildren, Jocelyn and Jordyn Bice; niece, Kalei Owens Mayfield; and nephews, Jason Owens and Wendell Hill.
Pallbearers will be Johnathan Bice, Mason Wasson, Keith Langston, Austin Huggins, Chris Kizer and Bobby Stewart.
Visitation will be Saturday, December 29, 2018 from 4-6 PM at the funeral home.
