Obituary for Jeffrey Wayne Quinn
Graveside services for Jeff Quinn, 60, of Athens, are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, October 13, 2021 at Carroll Springs Cemetery near Athens with Jason Roberts officiating. Interment will follow under the direction of Hannigan Smith Funeral Home.

Jeffrey Wayne Quinn was born January 29, 1961 in Athens, Texas, the son of James Arnold Quinn and Betty Louise (Lambright) Quinn. He spent many years working for Athens Steel, Holt Trucking and Tire, but mainly did what his sisters needed him to do because he loved them very much. Jeff was known as a hard worker who would do anything for anyone and was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed camping, riding his bicycle, his Harley and had a passion for fishing. He was a Christian who loved the Lord and will be missed by his many friends and family.
He was preceded in death by his father, James Quinn; mother, Betty Louise Richardson and his siblings, Jimmy Quinn and Ricky Quinn.
Survivors include his son, Arley Quinn of Athens; wife, Jean Irvin of Athens; sisters, Linda Miley of Athens, Kay Holt and husband Joe of Athens, Brenda Abney and husband Jimmy of Athens and many loving nieces, nephews and friends.
A visitation will be held prior to the graveside at the Carroll Springs Cemetery Pavilion on Wednesday, October 13, 2021 from 1-2:00 p.m.
Funeral arrangements were entrusted to the Hannigan Smith Funeral Home family.
