Obituary for Jane Carol Seeders (Brooks)
Carol Seeders, 78, of Athens, passed away July 23, 2022, in Athens.
Jane Carol (Brooks) Seeders was born April 25, 1944, in Pharr, Texas, the daughter of Evens Ira Brooks and Cloey (Franks) Brooks. She worked as a waitress at the Waffle House in Fort Worth for many years and, during her free time, enjoyed playing bingo and going to the casinos. Carol loved watching game shows and enjoying her favorite beverage- Pepsi. She will be missed by all those that knew and loved her.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Robert Eugene Grant, one granddaughter, and numerous siblings, nieces, and nephews.
Survivors include a daughter, Becky Ring of Bangor, Maine; two grandsons, numerous grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews.
Funeral arrangements were entrusted to the Hannigan Smith Funeral Home family.
