Visitation services for Gerry Hollingsworth, 60, of Athens, are scheduled for Friday, November 13, 2020 from 6-8:00 p.m. at the Hannigan Smith Funeral Home of Athens.
Mr. Hollingsworth passed away November 8, 2020 in Athens.
Gerry Lee Hollingsworth was born February 12, 1960 in Bazette, Texas, the son of Billie (Layfield) Wiles and Donald Lee Hollingsworth. He worked in maintenance for West Highland and Newhaven Apartments and loved fishing, carpentry, Nascar, working in the yard and spending time with family and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents and one brother.
Survivors include wife, Stephenie Cass of Athens; children, Megan Smith and husband Adam of Athens, Clint Carrizales of Athens; niece, Brandy Wiloth and husband Terry of Gun Barrell City; granddaughter, Grace Carrizales of Athens and numerous cousins.
Funeral arrangements were entrusted to the Hannigan Smith Funeral Home family.
