Funeral services for Frances Warren Terrell, 88, of Athens, are scheduled for 1:00 p.m., Friday, January 15, 2021 at Bethel Christian Church with Mike Baldwin officiating. Interment will follow at Meredith Campground Cemetery under direction of Hannigan Smith Funeral Home.

Mrs. Terrell passed away January 11, 2021 in Tyler.

Frances Jean (Crabtree) Warren Terrell was born October 17, 1932 in Eustace, the daughter of Jobe Edward Crabtree and Addie Mae (Jackson) Crabtree. She retired from Lone Star Gas after over 30 years as a secretary. Frances enjoyed traveling, cooking, making quilts and spending time with children.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Shirley Dewayne “Barney” Warren; son, Bobby Dewayne Warren and numerous siblings.

Survivors include husband, William Coy Terrell of Athens as well as a host of nieces and nephews.

Serving as pallbearers will be Mickey Cain, Jonathan Snowden, Michael Crabtree, Ronnie Crabtree, Matthew Stanley and Brian Chesley. Honorary pallbearer will be Justin Snowden.

A visitation will be held Thursday, January 14, 2021 from 6-8:00 p.m. at Hannigan Smith Funeral Home.
