Obituary for Doree Evelyn Friedrich (French)
Funeral services for Doree Friedrich, 71, of Athens, are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, November 18, 2020 at Hannigan Smith Funeral Home of Athens with Bro. Bob Logan officiating. Interment will follow at Carroll Springs Cemetery.
Mrs. Friedrich passed away November 15, 2020 in Tyler.
Doree Evelyn (French) Friedrich was born February 4, 1949 in Fredericksburg, the daughter of Delton Gene French and Evelyn (Kordzik) French. She previously worked as a hairdresser in San Saba and Ranger and enjoyed going on cruises. Doree’s greatest joy came from being a homemaker and taking care of her family. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Stephen Friedrich; son, Cullen Friedrich and brother, Rick French.
Survivors include sons, Cody Friedrich and wife Lori of Fredericksburg, Clay Friedrich and wife Nikki of Athens, Carter Friedrich and wife Kylie of Athens; sisters, Janice Hartmann and husband Karl of Johnson City, Lori Collier and husband Robert of Harper; grandchildren, Craig Fetterman, Corry Fetterman, Chase Friedrich, Gage Friedrich; six great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Serving as pallbearers will be Cody Friedrich, Clay Friedrich, Carter Friedrich, Chase Friedrich, Gage Friedrich, Craig Fetterman and Corry Fetterman.
A visitation will be held Wednesday, November 18, 2020 from 1-2:00 p.m. prior to the service at Hannigan Smith Funeral Home.
