Funeral services for Dian Martin, 67, of Athens, are scheduled for 3:00 p.m., Sunday, October 25, 2020 at the Hannigan Smith Funeral Home of Athens with Bro. Frank Upchurch officiating.

Mrs. Martin passed away October 22, 2020 in Athens.

Patricia Dian (Baker) Martin was born July 25, 1953 in Athens, the daughter of Doris Maxine Wilcox and R.C. Baker. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother and “Dine” to her grandchildren and great grandchild. Her most treasured moments were spending time with her family. Dian will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is preceded in death by her parents.

Survivors include her husband of 46 years, Tony Martin of Athens; daughter, Heather Cathey and husband James of Brownsboro; bonus daughter, Kimberly Spence and husband Kelly of Bivens; sister, Judy Brown and husband J.R. of Sherman; grandchildren, Justice Cathey and wife Bree of Kemp, Loren Cathey and Moises Alvarado of Athens, great grandson, Eeli Cathey of Kemp and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Funeral arrangements were entrusted to the Hannigan Smith Funeral Home family of Athens.
