Obituary for Connie Aaron Norman
Funeral services for Connie Aaron Norman, 63, of Athens, are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Thursday, October 31, 2019 at Hannigan Smith Funeral Home in Athens with Bro. Erick Graham officiating. Interment will follow at Oaklawn Memorial Park Cemetery under direction of Hannigan Smith Funeral Home.
Ms. Norman passed away October 26, 2019 in Athens.
Connie Diane (Aaron) Norman was born December 2, 1955 in Athens, Texas, the daughter of Aubrey Ray Aaron and Theresa (Newcomb) Aaron. She attended Sand Springs Baptist Church and was a well-known salesperson in Athens, having previously worked for Lonestar/Cowtown and Elder Dodge. Connie’s favorite hobbies included taking photographs and going fishing. Known as “Coco” to her grandchildren, she loved being a grandma and attending events for her children and grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, Micky Aaron and Vicky Hart.
Connie is survived by daughters, Nichole Hope and husband Kurt of Athens and Natalie Norman of Athens; brother George Aaron and wife Cozette of Athens; two grandchildren, Khloe and Kade Hope; numerous nieces, nephews and her beloved dog, John Wayne.
Serving as pallbearers will be Kelly Harris, Kerry Harris, Justin Harris, Dylan Hart, Cody Hart and Kenneth Lookabaugh.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, October 30, 2019 from 6-8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
