Ana Lou, I saw Steve's obit on the A&M website and am shocked. I've tried over the years to contact him but never had any luck.As you know Steve was a good "fish buddy" at A&M, as well as sophomore buddy, and then when y'all came back to school in 1966, we had classes together and hunted and fished a lot. all the way to graduation and then at the ranch afterwards. Then we lost touch, unfortunately. I worked for the TCEQ for 27 years (1968-1995). I guess Steve worked in the Tyler office after 1995.
I am so sorry for your loss and really wish we could have gotten together, because I've thought about Steve and wondered where he was and what he was doing for years. P.S. This is the bonfire pic taken in 1964. I'm on front row left of the log. Steve is next to me on the left looking at the pic and to the right of me. Looking at me and wondering why I'm straining so hard!!

We talk of the good times we had and talk of the trip to the French Restaurant in Dallas! I will always remember you and Steve taking our children to your house upon the death of my step father!
