Obituary for Carol Chloe Satterfield
A celebration of life gathering for Carol Satterfield, 77, of Athens, will be held Monday, September 2, 2019 from 2-4:00 PM at the Sand Springs Baptist Church.
Mrs. Satterfield passed away August 30, 2019 in Athens.
Carol Chloe (Morgan) Satterfield was born December 27, 1941 in Elkhart, Kansas to the late Henry Cloe “Code” Morgan and Elsie Floy (Cridlebaugh) Morgan. She was a member of the Athens Praise and Worship Center. Carol was an avid reader and enjoyed traveling. Most important to her was her family, whom she loved dearly.
She is preceded in death by her husband, William Satterfield; parents, Henry and Elsie Morgan; son, Mark Satterfield; and brother, Rex Morgan.
She is survived by her children, Michael Satterfield and wife Shelly of Athens, Michelle Buck of Wichita, Kansas and Milisa Jeter and husband Robert of Terrell; three sisters, Alberta Lawley of Henryetta, Oklahoma, Deanna Crawford of Kansas City, Missouri and Cheryl Turner and husband Ronnie of Guymon, Oklahoma; one brother, Donnie Morgan and wife Kathi of Elkhart, Kansas; sister-in-law, Pat Peterson and husband Petey; five grandchildren, Jocelyne Simmons, Karalyne Malloy, Alissa Satterfield, Kelsi Elliott and Britney Satterfield; and two great grandchildren, Cooper and Cole Malloy.
Arrangements were entrusted to the Hannigan Smith Funeral Home family.
