Funeral services for Bradley Fulton, 47, of Tyler, are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, May 26, 2021 at Rock Hill Baptist Church, 20022 SH 31 East, Brownsboro, TX 75756, with Rev. Richard Fulton and Bro. Danny Bristow officiating. Interment will follow at Shelby Chapel Cemetery in Athens under the direction of Hannigan Smith Funeral Home.
Mr. Fulton passed away May 21, 2021 in Tyler.
Bradley Glen Fulton was born June 6, 1973 in Athens, the son of Kenneth Howard Fulton and Frances Loriane (Stone) Fulton. He graduated from Athens High School in 1991 and received a Bachelor of Criminal Justice degree from Sam Houston State University. From 1995-2003, he worked for the family business at Fulton Tire and Auto in Athens while also serving as a reserve police officer with the Athens Police Department. He then went on to become a Texas Highway Patrolman for the Texas Department of Public Safety where he served in the East Texas area for the span of his career from 2003 until his recent retirement in 2021. During that time, he ran Parad-Ice Sno in Athens with his family and worked as a contractor building spec homes from 2013-2019.
Brad’s faith was important to him which was evidenced in his passion for singing gospel music to share the love of Christ with others. He was a part of the New Grace Trio for 28 years and also led worship for multiple churches in the East Texas area over the years. During his free time, he enjoyed fishing, cars and traveling with his daughters. Brad was outgoing, never met a stranger and was a loving man to his family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Elbert Fulton and Ressie (Nalls) Fulton and maternal grandparents, Marshall Stone and Mattie (Stephens) Stone.
Survivors include parents, Kenneth and Frances Fulton of Athens; daughters, Emily Fulton of Athens, Natalie Fulton of Athens; siblings, Sonja Barber and husband Kevin of Shreveport, Louisiana, Richard Fulton and wife Tammy of Athens and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Serving as pallbearers will be Kevin Barber, Brent Barber, Jordan Mahaney, Don House, Phillip Davis and Jerry Page.
A visitation will be held Wednesday, May 26, 2021 from 1-2:00 p.m. at Rock Hill Baptist Church prior to the service.
Funeral arrangements were entrusted to the Hannigan Smith Funeral Home family.
