Obituary for Bonnie Elaine TeSelle (Fritchie)
Memorial services for Bonnie TeSelle, 86, of Athens, are scheduled for 1:00 P.M., Saturday March 27, 2021 at Carroll Springs Cemetery.
Mrs. TeSelle passed away January 31, 2021 in Athens with her daughters and son by her side.
Bonnie Elaine (Fritchie) TeSelle was born June 9, 1934 in Lincoln, Nebraska, the daughter of Ruby (Standley) Fritchie. She attended Cypress Baptist Church in Benton, Louisiana and enjoyed playing games such as dominoes, chicken foot and marbles. Bonnie loved traveling, especially going on cruises with her family. She also enjoyed horseback riding, gardening and baking Christmas cookies for family and friends during the holidays. Bonnie was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother who will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
She is preceded in death by mother, Ruby Fritchie; husband, Donald TeSelle; two brothers, Robert Fritchie, Charles Fritchie and son-in-law, Paul Pike.
Survivors include children, Vickie Canon and husband Ed of Palmer, Roger TeSelle and wife Susana of Red Oak, Janet Pike of Athens; grandchildren, Kaitlin Canon, Dawn Patsel and husband Derek, Gerrit and Jessica TeSelle, Gary TeSelle, Emily TeSelle, Joshua Pike and wife Alexandra, Melissa Anderson and husband Shane; seven great grandchildren and her beloved dog Happy.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Hope Cancer Center of East Texas, or to Black Beauty Ranch.
Funeral arrangements were entrusted to the Hannigan Smith Funeral Home family.
