Athens - Funeral Services for Beverly Robertson, 62, of Athens are scheduled for 11:00 a.m., Saturday, January 12, 2019 at the First Baptist Church of Cross Roads with Bro. Frank Upchurch officiating. Interment will follow at Post Oak Cemetery.

Beverly passed away on January 9, 2019 in Athens.

Beverly Ann Robertson Arthus was born January 4, 1957 in Athens, Texas the daughter of James Laroy Arthus and Eddie Laquieta Stephens. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Cross Roads and lived in the Henderson County area her entire life. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend who will be greatly missed.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Brenda Kay Lee and one nephew, John Eric Lee.

Beverly is survived by her loving husband Jimmy Robertson of Athens; children, Brandon Jenkins of Cross Roads, James Travis Robertson and wife Crystal of Brownsboro, Micha Jenkins of Corinth, Richard Issac Robertson and wife April of Athens; sister Linda Rainwater and husband Doug of Cross Roads; brother-in-law Billy Lee of Cross Roads; father-in-law Travis Robertson of Malakoff; ten grandchildren and one on the way; numerous nieces and nephews and special friends, Glenda and Arnold Wisenbaker, William and Sherri Brown and Holly Jenkins.

Visitation will be held on Friday, January 11, 2019 at the Hannigan Smith Funeral Home from 6-8:00 P.M.

Serving as pallbearers: Jason Rainwater, Jamie Rainwater, Ricky Carson, Brian Lee, Billy Lee and William Brown

Honorary Pallbearer: Doug Rainwater, Wayne Pool and Arnold Wisenbaker

In Lieu of flowers the family would like for book donations to be made in Beverly’s honor to the Cross Roads ISD Library.
