Obituary for Angelica Zavala De Soto
A Private Funeral Service for Angelica Zavala, 80, of Malakoff will be held under the direction of Hannigan Smith Funeral Home.
Angelica passed away peacefully on April 6, 2020 in Athens.
Angelica Zavala de Soto was born January 29, 1940 in San Mateo, Zacatecas, Mexico the daughter of Manuel Zavala and Maria Dolores “Lola” Perez Zavala. She was a member of the St. Edwards Catholic Church who enjoyed reading the bible and praying. Angelica was a true homemaker who loved spending time with her family and taking care of them. She was a devout wife, mother and grandmother that will be greatly missed by all she knew and loved.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; son Juan Soto and daughter Albina Soto.
Angelica is survived by her ten children, Sara Soto and husband Manuel of Mexico, Lola Soto Padilla & husband Carmelo of Athens, Fidel Soto of Mexico, Rita Soto, Fernando Soto of Mexico, Maria Soto of Kansas City, Kansas, Martin Soto of Mexico, Gerardo Soto and wife Maria of Downy, California, Angelica Soto of Los Angeles, California, Carlos Soto of Malakoff; four sister; two brothers and twenty seven grandchildren.
