Services for Alma Marlene LeVassar, 80, of Athens, are scheduled for Saturday, March 23, 2019 at 10:00 AM at Hannigan Smith Funeral Home with Rev. Steve Adams officiating.
Mrs. LeVassar passed away March 21, 2019 in Tyler. She was born May 12, 1938 in Athens to the late Chancellor Wade and Martha (Mathis) Murphree.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Pete LeVassar; brother, Jimmy Murphree; and a sister, Nanny Murphree.
Survivors include son, Marvin Edd LeVassar of Athens; sister, Glenda Holcomb of Bradford; brother, JB Murphree of Athens; grandchildren, Leona Adams and husband Clint of Athens, Jason LeVassar of Athens and Marvin LeVassar of Sulphur Springs; great grandchildren, Ethan Adams, Jace Adams, August Adams, Chancellor Adams, Paris Adams and McKenley Adams.
Visitation will be Friday, March 22, 2019 from 5-7 PM at the funeral home.
Funeral services were entrusted to the Hannigan Smith Funeral Home Family.
